Recent graduates are employed as scientists in academia, industry and government, or pursuing postgraduate education. In addition to our rigorous academic program, students can work side-by-side with faculty on research projects such as discovering novel inhibitors of bacterial efflux pumps as a way to combat multidrug resistance in bacteria, 四色AV biodegradation of polymer coatings, and discovering new photodynamic lung cancer treatments. Whether students are in upper-level teaching laboratories or individual faculty research laboratories, they gain hands-on experience with modern chemical instrumentation as they study research problems.
